Car, Phone, & Banking
Car: Expat Auto
To Do: Test drive and choose a car to purchase. Prepare to send a wire transfer or pay cash. Begin looking at the Expat Auto website to see what’s available, but keep in mind their inventory changes fast. In the future, you will receive a discount if you bring your car back to Expat Auto for repairs, oil changes, new tires, upgrades, etc.
To Bring: Passport
It may take some time for Expat Auto to get your car ready, so prepare to rent a car for the first couple of weeks if necessary.
Phone: AIS
To Do: Choose a plan for talk, text, and data. You can do this on your own or ask a team member to go with you to help. We recommend going to AIS at Central Festival or Maya Mall.
To Bring: Passport
Bank
To Do: We recommend going to Kasikorn Bank at Central Festival because we know they accept students studying at Manna. Setting up your bank account may take a while. If you are opening a joint account, both people need to be present. After a few weeks, you will receive your user ID via text message and your pin by mail.
To Bring: Passport, copy of residence certificate, and letter from your language school
